Serious Beak - Huxwhukw

"'Huxwhukw' is a stunning blistering explosion of unpredictable unique metallic and progressive fusions veined by glorious discordance and inciting poly-rhythmic intrusions. Complicated without being inaccessible and eccentric without touching indulgence the album is a triumph that lingers and pleasures long after its last distinctly creative note enters the ear. 9/10."
- This Is Not A Scene
"Huxwhukw is one of the most intriguing instrumental releases to have been born in a long time. Despite the amount of influences and time-changes crammed in there, it remains catchy, and undeniably memorable. 8.5/10"
- Mitch Booth, Metal Obsession
"Easily some of the most diverse and chaotic instrumental music to ever grace the genre."
- Dwayne Charrington, Kill Hipsters
"What we have here is an Aussie quartet of avant, instu-metal genius. The music twists and turns unendingly. there are moments of intense math-timed chaos and calming ambience... Serious Beak is the deranged spawn of The Dillinger Escape Plan and Sigur Rós."
- Heavy Planet
"Serious Beak’s debut album offers up ample servings of brilliance. 9.5/10"
- Troii, The Fuck Whisperer
"At times playful, at times gentle, at times overwhelming, Serious Beak's music is rich, varied and delightfully vulgar. They come in gentle, lowering our defences and then lay into us with such abandon and such skill that it’s hard to tell if we want them to stop or to keep at it until our ears bleed."
- Surdus, We Love Metal
"Huxwhukw" is an eccentric amalgamation of mind-melting, toe-tapping, psychedelic, progressive and poly-rhythmic discordant music, sure to please fans of Meshuggah, Mastodon, Botch, The Mars Volta and King Crimson.

To zapowiedź kolejnych propozycji muzycznych.
